Those photographers enjoyed their job. They saw a street group gathered around 2 sellers (called dealers) whose barrow is one of the most attractive they have seen during their wanderings about town. They sold an assortment of vases and other "fancy wares". Their job was called "swag dealers". According to the photographers, 1500 swag dealers worked in London in 1877.
